Water fluoridation controversy

Proponents of water fluoridation have for over 60 years tried to maintain that science supports their case that fluoridation is "safe and effective" and that the people opposed to fluoridation are "unscientific" or worse. This is simply not the case as the following items make it very clear.

A FAMILY history of mercury poisoning has emerged as a significant risk factor for developing autism, Melbourne researchers say.

A Swinburne University survey of 522 Australian survivors of pink disease - a form of mercury poisoning common in the early 20th century - found that one in 25 of their 398 grandchildren aged six to 12 had an autism spectrum disorder.
